This course presents the requirements of AS9100D and demonstrates how to interpret them within an organization.

Note: This course does not complete the training component for Third Party Lead Auditor certification.

Learners will gain a comprehensive and deep foundation in quality management systems, implementation, and auditing to the AS9100:2016 series of standards for Aviation, Space, and Defense. Estimated to take up to 15 hours to complete, this course provides training on the standard itself and prepares the experienced auditor for the oversight and execution of the audit process inside the organization using AS9100D.

We recommend learners new to AS9100 first enroll in PD631835, AS9100D Auditor Training to gain background in the standard and how to manage an audit program.

Objectives

By participating in this online course, you will be able to:

• Navigate through the AS9100D standard and its appendices
• Explain how the requirements can be interpreted/should be implemented within the aerospace industry
• Identify if/when a non-conformance has taken place as related to compliance with a clause/clauses of AS9100D
• Master the auditing techniques used for quality and safety management system audits per ISO 19011:2018
• Plan, conduct, interpret results, and lead quality management systems audits
• Assume a productive role in an audit of your organization’s quality management system as outlined in AS9100D and ISO 19011
