UML in examples

Course structure

The UML training in the examples was advertised on the basis of feedback from the UML training for analysts and preparatory examinations from the UML OCUP 2 (especially the Foundation level).

It is necessary to emphasize that this is not an interpretation of UML (hence the just mentioned UML for analysts), but its proper practice. If you have completed this training, this is the right one for you. Likewise, if you believe that you can use UML, but its use already causes problems.

Examples will focus on the following diagrams:

• Use cases
• Class diagrams
• Object diagrams
• State diagrams
• Activity diagrams
• Component diagrams
• Sequence diagrams

Most of the examples are then processed by several types of diagrams, because the basis of modeling is to look at reality each time with a different view and to interconnect these views.

The set of examples for this training is new, so it will not be the same examples that the participants solve in one of the other trainings.
