Kód školení: CIPT
The “how” of privacy and technology, and why you need it, the CIPT is accredited under ANSI/ISO standards 17024:2012.
The CIPT is the first and only certification of its kind worldwide. It was launched by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in 2014 to meet the growing need that only technology professionals can fulfil—securing data privacy at all stages of IT product and service lifecycles.
The IAPP’s certifications in privacy and data protection law and practice have plugged thousands of professionals into the information economy. Now technology professionals like you can take privacy knowledge—and your career—to a higher level.

Who should attend
The GDPR includes among its mandates the requirement to appoint knowledgeable DPOs (data protection officers) tasked with monitoring compliance, managing internal data protection activities, training data processing staff, conducting internal audits and more. There’s a lot to know, there’s a lot at stake and there’s a lot of opportunity for privacy professionals with the right training and education.
Course contents
The CIPT certification is comprised of seven domains:
1. Understanding the need for privacy in the IT environment
2. Core privacy concepts
3. Privacy considerations in the information life cycle
4. Privacy in systems and applications
5. Privacy techniques
6. Online privacy issues
7. Technologies with privacy considerations
The CIPT body of knowledge outlines all the concepts and topics that you need to know to become certified. The exam blueprint gives you an idea of how many questions from each topic area you can expect on the exam. We recommend you download and read the following publications provided by the IAPP:
Certification Exam
The IAPP uses computer-based exams, which are administered through Pearson VUE testing centres at locations throughout the world. Available testing centres can be viewed upon scheduling an exam. You will receive your results immediately upon concluding your exam, and a confirmation print out will be provided by the testing centre. Exam results will update in the IAPP system after one business day.
All results are placed on a common scale, ranging from 100 to 500. The passing score for all IAPP exams is 300 (which does not represent 50 percent). Typically, passing scores range between 65 and 80 percent correct, depending on the program and exam form.

Recommended
IAPP offers its training in a modular format using 2-day courses. By combing your CIPT certification with the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) 2-day course, you’ll be uniquely positioned to both understand the technologies required to support privacy as well as the management program needed to implement and support these technologies.
There are no firm requirements for CIPT certification. Recommendations for previous experience include advanced knowledge of networking and at least some experience with privacy. You should go into the certification process understanding you need to be able to manage and develop privacy requirements and controls. It’s really open to many different technology areas because privacy is an element in every occasion. Those in IT, information security, software engineering, or privacy by design would benefit from this certification.
